1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Acta Verum (actaverum.com) you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Account

Creating an account is free and passwordless: access is via a magic link sent to your email or via Google OAuth. You're responsible for the security of the email and Google account tied to it, and for all activity under your account.

3. Conduct and comments

You're responsible for what you post. Unlawful, defamatory, hateful or spam content, or content that infringes others' rights, is prohibited. Comments go through automatic moderation and human review; we may hide, edit or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Intellectual property

Acta Verum's editorial content is published under a Creative Commons licence (with attribution), as indicated on each piece. The "Acta Verum" name, logo and visual identity are ours and are not licensed. By posting comments you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them on the service.

5. Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links, always identified as such. See the Affiliate Policy.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". We apply editorial rigor but don't warrant the content is error-free — corrections are welcome via Report an error. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms at any time, with notice on the site. These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
